This course is administered globally by IATA Aviation Training and Development Institute, (ATDI) Montreal, Canada. The diploma examinations are usually held in March and September every year, and the corresponding admissions are in Sep.- Nov. for the Mar. exam, and in Mar - May for the Sep. exam. The examinations are supervised in India by the national air carrier, Air India. In Kerala, there are examination centers at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode.
Kannanthanam School offers training in GDS (Global Distribution System), viz; Galileo/ Sabre/Abacus/Amadeus also, along with the Foundation course.
The School recommends a degree in any discipline, as the minimum qualification for admission. Final year degree students may also apply. Outstanding 10+2 candidates may also be considered
Admission to this course is usually meant for those who have passed the Foundation course.
This has been conceived as a free programme meant for IATA/UFTAA students of the school and is aimed at improving the employability and career advancement potential of the candidates
For Foundation and Consultant courses fees are to be paid to IATA in USD, and tuition fee in INR to the School. The Rupee equivalent of the fee in USD (at recommended exchange rates) may be paid at the School cash counter.
Separate accommodation is arranged for boys and girls, depending on availability. |
